While speaking on the debate in the Building Construction Industry of India on the use of Drywalls as internal partitions, renowned architect Hafeez Contractor has come out strongly in support of Drywalls. While supporting Drywalls he mentioned that they have been used internationally over 50 years and offer similar acoustical and fire safety properties as concrete blocks. In addition, Drywalls provide some inherent advantages like flexibility, ease of repair and ease of installation making it the material of choice of internal wall partition.
